Make Your Voice Heard!

One of the best ways to express your views and ideas to a large audience is by writing a letter to the editor or calling your favorite talk radio show.

People read letters to the editor, more than almost any other part of a newspaper. Many letters are never printed, but each one counts!The policy of the Union-Tribune, for instance, is to print letters in proportion to the number received on each side of issue.

It's easier than you think.Letters or comments don't need to be stellar prose.They need to be short and direct.
